Understanding the Waitlist and Kitten Status…
You may notice that kittens below are listed with different statuses, such as Pending Adoption, Available, or Waitlist. These labels help clarify where each kitten is in the placement process.
A kitten listed as Pending Adoption has been selected by a family but has not yet gone home. Until pickup is complete, plans can occasionally change, and in rare cases a kitten may become available again. If this occurs, families on the waitlist are contacted in order.
A kitten listed as AVAILABLE is not currently on a waitlist and is available to be chosen by an approved family.
When a kitten or litter is listed as Waitlist, it means there are families currently waiting to choose. Our process always begins with care and intention — first for the cattery, and then for families on our waitlist, in the order deposits were received.
Families get to know our kittens through photos, videos, and, when the time is right, in-person visits. Visits typically begin around 10 weeks of age, after kittens have received their first FVRCP vaccination and are more awake, playful, and curious during the day.
Sometimes a family may choose to wait for a future litter or feel that a particular kitten isn’t the right match for them. When that happens, another family is thoughtfully given the opportunity to welcome that kitten home. Our goal is always to help each kitten and family find the best possible fit.
